Festival Accomodations

There are no hotels in Georgiana, Alabama, site of the festival. There are several local restaurants, many 7-11, and grocery stores, along with drug stores, hardware, Dollar General, Fred's, service stations, etc.
There is covered seating for the festival, but no chairs are provided. You must bring your own. No drinks or food allowed into the festival grounds. No dogs or pets.
There are arts and crafts, food and drink vendors, where everything from cold drinks to complete meals may be purchased.
The festival tries to offer friendly accomodations to everyone. There is a wheel chair ramp that makes it easy to reach the seating area, but there is no reserved handicapped parking on the festival grounds.
Usually each performer will set up a CD-table, and after their onstage performance, will come down and allow the fans to talk and have their photograph made with them.
This is a family oriented festival, with adequate security.
On Friday afternoon, the music will begin around 3 pm, and be continuous, except for the time period when entertainers change out their stage equipment. The featured entertainer, which this year is T. Graham Brown, normally takes the stage around 8:30 pm.
Saturday's session usually starts around 10:30 am. The festival tries to insure there is non-stop entertainment, but as musicians exit and enter the stage, there is always a lapse of time while the new entertainers get set up.
If you have any questions, or special needs, let us know.
Thanks and we hope you have a great festival.
